Plus = bring up on-screen keyboard, useful for entering names, etc. * The pointer jumps to the finger, and a short tap also generates a left click * The pointer jumps to the finger, but the finger doesn't click. For my testing, I used the files from the gog.com version. Then you can select the RCT1 scenarios, and in options you can select to show the rct1 title sequence. Just copy your complete rct1 files to `/switch/openrct2/rct1/`.
#Openrct2 without rct2 install
Optionally, you can also install the *Windows RollerCoaster Tycoon 1* files. Copy all files and folders from a working *Windows RollerCoaster Tycoon 2* installation to `/switch/openrct2/rct2/` so that you have a files and folders `/switch/openrct2/rct2/rct2.exe`, `/switch/openrct2/rct2/Data/`, `/switch/openrct2/rct2/Landscapes/`, `/switch/openrct2/rct2/ObjData/` and many more files and folders there.
#Openrct2 without rct2 download
Download (see `assets` below), and unzip openrct2_switch.zip and copy the contents over to the `/switch/` folder on your sd card, so that you have a folder `/switch/openrct2` with many folders and files inside. Thanks to Milenko for testing and making screenshots. Thanks to devkitPro for making Switch homebrew possible. Thanks to Chris Sawyer for writing the amazing original game. The video below does a better job at explaining this trick! It's a fun trick to use for a shuttle coaster, it sadly does not work for a reverse-incline launched shuttle coaster though as forward chainlifts don't work in this mode. Thanks to the many many developers who worked on this open source game. After the chainlift has been bypassed, the dinghy slide merges with the coaster again with a normal open track. Lower down on the track, the dinghy slide continues, but with a fully enclosed tube style track which bypasses the chainlift. Right after this chainlift, the track is merged with a dinghy slide so the train gets pulled onto the dinghy slide track. In OpenRCT2, it is also possible to make a track that has this behavior! In order to do this, a small piece of chainlift is built on a hill. Some real rollercoasters have a chainlift that pulls up a train, and then releases it backwards.
